Quick answers to the things most clients ask first.
-
No. Most of our clients book from abroad and we manage everything remotely. Enquiries, planning, payments and itinerary finalisation all happen over email and WhatsApp. If you are in Kenya outside of Mombasa, that is equally fine: we coordinate pick-up, flights and transfers from your location.
-
Yes, and it is one of our most requested itinerary types. A classic Kenya combination moves from Nairobi or the Mara to the coast by flight, swapping the safari jeep for a dhow. We handle both halves under one booking, so there is no handoff between operators and nothing falls through the gap. We can advise on optimal day splits for different lengths of trip.

For travel during peak season (July to October, and December to January), we recommend booking at least 3 to 6 months in advance. High-demand lodges and camps in the Masai Mara fill quickly during the Great Migration period and it is difficult to place clients at short notice without settling for a lower-quality property.
For shoulder and low season, 4 to 8 weeks is usually sufficient. If you need to travel sooner, contact us: we know which operators have last-minute availability and we can often put something together quickly.

Our quotes are inclusive. A typical safari quote covers: private vehicle and driver-guide, fuel, Kenya National Park or reserve fees, accommodation as specified, all meals within the itinerary, and airport or hotel transfers at each end. It excludes: international flights (unless specifically quoted), travel insurance, gratuities, personal expenses and activities booked separately to the main itinerary.
We will always list what is and is not included in the quote we send you, so there are no surprises at any gate or lodge.

Yes. We do not have group departure schedules, so every trip is private regardless of group size. Solo travellers benefit from having a private guide and vehicle rather than sharing with strangers. The main difference for solo bookings is the per-person cost, since vehicle and guide fees are not shared. We can advise on how to keep costs manageable for solo travel and, where appropriate, recommend smaller lodges where solo guests often find the experience better anyway.
